I am home from the Incorrigible Author tour (SO MUCH HOWLING! SO MUCH FUN!), and yet the fun is not over, because I'm just in time for the NYC Teen Author Festival. This is an awesome week. It's like Woodstock for people who love teen books, teens, books, or any combination thereof. You will be bragging you were there long after the hippie love vans have been towed out of the mud and all that's left are the souvenir tie die t-shirts and occasional acid flashbacks.
Every day, from Monday through Sunday, there are panels, readings, mash-ups, smack-downs, and the ever-rockin' Tiger Beat, plus the biggest Teen Author signing ever, anywhere, anyhow. It's Authorpalooza, all week long!
For complete and astonishingly star-studded schedule, go here.
Or the New York Public Library, Friday at 4:15 PM (cool panel: "The Boy You Can't Have"). 42nd St. & 5th Ave., South Court.
Or Books of Wonder, Sunday at 2 PM (mass signing! buy Sharpie stock now!). Signing starts at 2 PM, I'll be signing closer to 5 PM. 18 West 18th Street, New York, NY.
